Drug intelligence / Profile preview
X-Pur Remin is a therapeutic remineralizing toothpaste formulated with medical hydroxyapatite (mHAP), a nanoparticle-sized synthetic version of the primary mineral constituent of human tooth enamel and dentin. Developed by Sangi Co., Ltd. and distributed by Oral Science, it is primarily indicated for the prevention of dental caries and the treatment of dentin hypersensitivity. Unlike conventional fluoride toothpastes, mHAP works by directly replenishing calcium and phosphate ions to the tooth structure, effectively repairing surface micro-fissures and sub-surface demineralized areas. Additionally, it acts by occluding exposed dentinal tubules to mitigate sensitivity and adsorbing oral bacteria, such as Streptococcus mutans, to facilitate their removal during brushing.
