Overview
X4P-003 is a novel, second-generation small-molecule antagonist of the C-X-C motif chemokine receptor 4 (CXCR4) being developed by X4 Pharmaceuticals. It is designed with enhanced properties relative to the company's first-generation candidate, mavorixafor, to potentially address a broader range of CXCR4-dependent disorders and primary immunodeficiencies. Currently in pre-clinical development, X4P-003 aims to modulate the CXCR4/CXCL12 pathway, which plays a critical role in the trafficking and retention of immune cells.
