Drug intelligence / Profile preview
X6632 is a coumarin-derived small molecule pan-inhibitor of DNA binding (ID) proteins. It acts as a second-generation ID antagonist with dual activity, targeting both cancer cells and the tumor-supporting microvasculature. Developed by Heidelberg University and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, X6632 suppresses the expression of ID proteins, inhibiting tumor cell proliferation, migration, and invasion, as well as disrupting endothelial cell functions and angiogenesis. In preclinical models, X6632 has demonstrated efficacy against melanoma, triple-negative breast cancer, and lung cancer, showing enhanced therapeutic outcomes when combined with immune checkpoint inhibitors.
