Drug intelligence / Profile preview
XBH201 is a preclinical bispecific antibody degrader developed by Shanghai XBH Biotechnology, targeting Immunoglobulin Superfamily Member 8 (IGSF8) for the treatment of solid tumors. IGSF8 is a cell-surface protein that plays a role in cell-cell interactions and has been identified as an immune checkpoint or a regulator of tumor cell malignancy. By utilizing a bispecific format, XBH201 is designed to bridge IGSF8 with a degradation-inducing receptor, facilitating the internalization and subsequent lysosomal or proteasomal degradation of IGSF8. This targeted protein degradation (TPD) approach aims to achieve more potent and sustained inhibition of the target compared to traditional monoclonal antibodies, potentially overcoming resistance mechanisms in various solid malignancies.
