XBH40

XBH40 is a biparatopic antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being developed by Shanghai XBH Biotechnology for the treatment of solid tumors. It specifically targets B7-H3 (also known as CD276), an immune checkpoint molecule that is frequently overexpressed in various cancers and is associated with tumor progression and poor clinical outcomes. By utilizing a biparatopic antibody—which binds to two non-overlapping epitopes on the B7-H3 protein—XBH40 is designed to promote superior receptor clustering and rapid internalization compared to traditional monospecific ADCs. This mechanism facilitates the efficient delivery of a cytotoxic payload directly into the tumor cells. As of early 2024, XBH40 is in the IND-enabling phase of development.
