Drug intelligence / Profile preview
XCelliStem Wound Powder is an FDA-cleared (2018) extracellular matrix (ECM)-based regenerative medicine product developed by FetTech. It is composed of a proprietary blend of multiple tissue sources, specifically porcine spleen and lung, using the Multi-Tissue Platform (MTP) technology. The powder contains a complex mixture of biomolecules, including 45% collagen (Types I, III, IV, and V), 25% elastin, 14% fibronectin, and 7% laminin, along with hyaluronic acid, glycosaminoglycans, and essential growth factors such as fibroblast growth factor (FGF), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), and epidermal growth factor (EGF). It is indicated for the management of various wound types, including burns, trauma, surgical wounds, and chronic ulcers (diabetic, venous, and pressure). The product functions by providing a natural scaffold and signaling molecules that facilitate the body's innate healing and tissue regeneration processes.
