The xenogenic anticancer vaccine is a preclinical-stage immunotherapy being developed by Innovita Research in collaboration with the National Cancer Institute, Lithuania. The vaccine is designed to overcome immune tolerance to self-antigens by utilizing xenogenic (cross-species) tumor-associated antigens (TAAs). By presenting antigens from a different species that are homologous to human TAAs, the vaccine aims to elicit a potent T-cell and B-cell mediated immune response against the patient's tumor cells. The program is currently being evaluated in preclinical murine models to establish proof-of-concept across various cancer indications.
