Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Xerolacer is a line of oral care products (including toothpaste, mouthwash, topical gel, and spray) developed by Lacer and commercialized in Brazil by Laboratório Gross. It is specifically formulated to alleviate the symptoms of dry mouth (xerostomia) and prevent associated oral complications. The multi-ingredient formulation contains humectants and lubricants (such as glycerin, xylitol, betaine, and Aloe vera) to hydrate the oral mucosa; mineral salts (including sodium chloride, potassium chloride, and sodium citrate) to stimulate salivary flow and restore electrolyte balance; fluoride (sodium fluoride and sodium monofluorophosphate) to remineralize tooth enamel and prevent dental caries; and anti-inflammatory and antioxidant agents (such as dipotassium glycyrrhizinate, panthenol, and vitamin E acetate) to protect and soothe the gums. Additionally, it contains the antiseptic o-cymen-5-ol (cymenol) to control dental plaque and maintain a healthy oral microbiome.
