Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Xervyteg + ipilimumab + nivolumab is an investigational combination regimen consisting of Xervyteg (MaaT013), a donor-derived, standardized, high-diversity microbiome ecosystem therapy, and the immune checkpoint inhibitors ipilimumab (an anti-CTLA-4 monoclonal antibody) and nivolumab (an anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody). Developed in collaboration with Assistance Publique - Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP), INRAE, and Gustave Roussy, this combination is being evaluated in the Phase 2a PICASSO clinical trial for the treatment of patients with advanced, unresectable, or metastatic melanoma who are immunotherapy-naïve. The regimen aims to leverage the gut microbiome to modulate the immune system, enhance the efficacy of dual checkpoint inhibition, and potentially improve patient tolerability and response rates.
