XH-02

XH-02 is a potent and highly selective small molecule inhibitor of cyclin-dependent kinase 9 (CDK9), currently under clinical investigation for the treatment of advanced malignancies. CDK9, as part of the positive transcription elongation factor b (p-TEFb) complex, plays a critical role in regulating the transcription of genes essential for cancer cell survival, including anti-apoptotic factors like Mcl-1 and oncogenes such as MYC. By selectively targeting CDK9, XH-02 aims to disrupt the transcriptional machinery of tumor cells, leading to rapid induction of apoptosis while potentially minimizing the off-target toxicities associated with non-selective CDK inhibitors. Developed by XingHuan Pharmaceutical, the drug is being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for patients with advanced solid tumors and lymphomas.
