Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Xiang-sha-liu-jun decoction (XSLJZT) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal formula composed of eight herbs: *Panax ginseng*, *Atractylodes macrocephala*, *Poria cocos*, *Glycyrrhiza uralensis*, *Citrus reticulata*, *Pinellia ternata*, *Aucklandia lappa*, and *Amomum villosum*. It has a centuries-long history of use for treating gastrointestinal disturbances, including vomiting, gastric fullness, and functional dyspepsia. The formula is believed to exert immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory effects by modulating the Toll-like receptor (TLR) signaling pathway in the gastric mucosa. In clinical research, it has been evaluated as an adjunct to standard triple antibiotic therapy for the eradication of *Helicobacter pylori* in patients with chronic gastritis, particularly those presenting with spleen-stomach qi deficiency.
