xiang-sha-liu-jun decoction

Xiang-sha-liu-jun decoction (XSLJZT) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal formula composed of eight herbs: Panax ginseng, Atractylodes macrocephala, Poria cocos, Glycyrrhiza uralensis, Citrus reticulata, Pinellia ternata, Aucklandia lappa, and Amomum villosum. It has a centuries-long history of use for treating gastrointestinal disturbances, including vomiting, gastric fullness, and functional dyspepsia. The formula is believed to exert immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory effects by modulating the Toll-like receptor (TLR) signaling pathway in the gastric mucosa. In clinical research, it has been evaluated as an adjunct to standard triple antibiotic therapy for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori in patients with chronic gastritis, particularly those presenting with spleen-stomach qi deficiency.
