Overview
Xiao Zhong Zhi Tong Tiegao (also known as Xiao Zhong Zhi Tong Tie) is an approved Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) topical plaster developed and manufactured by Shaanxi Momentum Pharmaceutical and Yabao Pharmaceutical. It is formulated with active ingredients including Artemisia desertorum seed (Sha Hao Zi), Menthol, and Veronica linariifolia subsp. dilatata (Shui Wan Jing). The plaster is primarily indicated for clearing heat, reducing swelling, and alleviating pain, and is used as an auxiliary treatment for early-stage furuncles (boils) and joint swelling and pain. Additionally, it has been investigated in clinical studies for acupoint application in conditions such as diarrhea, ovarian endometriosis, and cancer pain.
