Overview
Xiaoer Feire Kechuan Oral Solution is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal oral liquid developed by Sunflower Pharmaceutical Group. It is formulated based on classic TCM prescriptions, specifically Maxing Shigan Decoction and Baihu Decoction, and contains 11 herbal ingredients including Ephedra (Mahuang), bitter apricot seed (Kuxingren), gypsum (Shigao), licorice (Gancao), honeysuckle (Jinyinhua), Forsythia (Lianqiao), Anemarrhena (Zhimu), Scutellaria (Huangqin), Isatis root (Banlangen), Ophiopogon (Maidong), and Houttuynia (Yuxingcao). It is approved and marketed in China for the treatment of pediatric respiratory tract infections, including influenza, bronchitis, and Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia (often in combination with azithromycin). The solution exhibits broad-spectrum antibacterial and antiviral activities, reduces inflammatory cytokines (such as IL-6, IL-8, and TNF-α), and alleviates symptoms like fever, cough, sputum, and wheezing.
