Xiaoer Qinma Granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed by Nanjing Chongyuan Biotechnology for the treatment of pediatric acute pharyngitis. Indicated for children presenting with wind-heat syndrome, the drug aims to clear heat, detoxify, and alleviate symptoms such as sore throat, fever, and cough. The formulation contains extracts from *Scutellaria baicalensis* (Huangqin) and *Ephedra sinica* (Mahuang), which provide anti-inflammatory and respiratory-soothing effects. As of recent reports, the drug has been undergoing Phase III clinical trials in China to establish its efficacy and safety profile in the pediatric population.
