Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Xiaoer Xincang Tongqiao Granules is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) Class 1.1 innovative drug developed by Jianmin Group. The formulation is derived from a clinical prescription by Chief Physician Chen Yonghui of the Capital Institute of Pediatrics. It is designed to dispel wind, open the nasal passages, strengthen the spleen, and resolve dampness. The drug is indicated for the treatment of perennial allergic rhinitis (specifically the lung meridian wind-cold syndrome) in pediatric patients aged 2 to 14 years, addressing symptoms such as nasal congestion, nasal itching, sneezing, and loss of appetite. In June 2026, the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) of China approved its clinical trial application, making it the first dedicated pediatric Chinese patent medicine for allergic rhinitis to enter clinical trials in China.
