Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Xiaoke Kang Granules is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formulation developed and manufactured by Hebei Wanbang Fu Lin Pharmaceutical. It is specifically indicated for the treatment of 'Xiaoke' (thirst-quenching) syndrome, which in traditional Chinese medicine corresponds to symptoms associated with diabetes mellitus, such as excessive thirst, frequent urination, and fatigue. As a multi-herb formulation, its mechanism of action is based on TCM principles of nourishing yin and clearing heat to alleviate the symptoms of internal heat and fluid deficiency. It is administered orally in granule form and is currently approved and marketed in China.
