Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Xiaoru Sanjie is a Chinese patent medicine formulated as an oral capsule. It is primarily used for the treatment of hyperplasia of mammary glands (also known as mammary gland hyperplasia or cyclomastopathy), which manifests as breast swelling and pain. The formulation is based on traditional Chinese medicine principles and contains multiple herbal ingredients designed to resolve "hard lumps," promote blood circulation, relieve liver qi stagnation, and reduce phlegm and blood stasis. Clinical studies suggest that Xiaoru Sanjie can significantly improve symptoms associated with benign breast disorders compared to standard Western medicines, with a lower incidence of adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal discomfort or menstrual irregularities[1][2][3][5]. Its mechanism involves anti-inflammatory effects and modulation of endocrine function; however, specific molecular targets are not well characterized in Western pharmacological terms[1]. The product has been approved for use in China.
