Xiaoshi Gandan granules

Xiaoshi Gandan granules is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formulation currently in Phase III clinical development for the treatment of chronic cholecystitis, specifically for patients presenting with the liver-gallbladder damp-heat syndrome. Developed by Guangzhou Boji New Drug Clinical Research Center, the drug is administered orally as a granule. The therapeutic objective is to alleviate clinical symptoms, primarily right upper quadrant abdominal pain, by addressing the underlying TCM pattern of damp-heat in the liver and gallbladder. As a multi-herb TCM product, its mechanism involves a holistic approach to clearing heat and promoting gallbladder function.
