Xiaoziling Injection

Xiaoziling Injection is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) injection developed and manufactured by Jilin Jian Yisheng Pharmaceutical. It is a well-established sclerosing agent used primarily in proctology for the treatment of internal hemorrhoids (stages I-III) and rectal prolapse, including mucosal prolapse. The formulation typically contains active components such as potassium aluminum sulfate (alum) and tannic acid (extracted from Galla Chinensis). When injected into the submucosal layer or the perirectal space, Xiaoziling induces a localized, controlled aseptic inflammatory response. This leads to tissue fibrosis and the formation of adhesions that effectively 'pin' or fix the prolapsed rectal mucosa to the underlying muscular layers and shrink hemorrhoidal tissue. It is widely used in China as a non-surgical or minimally invasive intervention for pelvic floor disorders.
