Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Xieriga Siwei Tang is a traditional Mongolian medicine (TCM) formulation developed and manufactured by Hunan Jiudian Pharmaceutical. It is a classic multi-herb formula, often referred to as Xieriga-4, typically composed of four primary ingredients: *Gardenia jasminoides* (Zhizi), *Sophora flavescens* (Kushen), *Phellodendron amurense* (Huangbai), and *Tribulus terrestris* (Jili). In the context of Mongolian medicine, it is primarily indicated for the treatment of "Xieriga" (bile/heat) related disorders, which manifest as conditions such as jaundice, damp-heat syndromes, and urinary tract infections. The formulation is administered orally, commonly in capsule form, and has received regulatory approval in China for these indications.
