Xihuang Jiedu Capsule

Xihuang Jiedu Capsule is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formulation developed and used primarily in China for the adjunctive treatment of various malignant tumors, including breast cancer, gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, liver cancer, and lung cancer. It is also indicated for conditions such as abscesses, lymphadenitis, multiple abscesses, and soft tissue infections characterized by swelling and pain. The capsule contains a combination of ingredients such as artificial bezoar (artificial niuhuang), artificial musk (artificial shexiang), frankincense (ruxiang), myrrh (moyao), Panax notoginseng (sanqi), American ginseng (xiyangshen), Cremastra appendiculata tuber (shancigu), Cordyceps sinensis powder (dongchongxiacao fen), pearl powder (zhenzhufen), among others. Its mechanism of action is based on TCM principles—clearing heat and toxins ("jiedu"), dispersing nodules ("sanjie"), activating blood circulation to remove stasis ("huoxue quyu"), reducing swelling ("xiaozhong"), and relieving pain ("zhitong"). Modern research suggests it may modulate the tumor microenvironment to exert anti-tumor effects and improve quality of life in patients with malignancies[2][4].
