Xiloial Forte

Xiloial Forte is a preservative-free, lubricating, and hydrating ophthalmic solution developed by Farmigea. It is formulated with a synergistic combination of high molecular weight hyaluronic acid (obtained via biotechnological synthesis) and TS-polysaccharide (tamarind seed polysaccharide, extracted from the seeds of Tamarindus indica). Hyaluronic acid acts as a mucomimetic lubricant with high water-binding capacity, stabilizing the tear film and providing long-lasting hydration. TS-polysaccharide forms a protective film on the ocular surface, aiding in the restoration of the physiological balance of the tear film and protecting the corneal-conjunctival surface. Xiloial Forte is approved and marketed as a CE medical device for the relief of dry eye syndrome and ocular irritation caused by environmental factors (wind, sun, smoke, dry air), visual stress (prolonged screen use), or mechanical factors (contact lens wear, ocular surgery).
