Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Xiltokine is an autologous cytokine-induced killer (CIK) cell immunotherapy being developed by Auxi Therapeutics. Part of the dendritic cell-cytokine-induced killer (DC-CIK) family of autologous immune cell therapies, Xiltokine consists of ex vivo expanded immune effector cells (primarily CD3+CD56+ NKT cells and CD3+CD56- T cells) that are designed to recognize and destroy tumor cells in a non-major histocompatibility complex (MHC)-restricted manner. Because CIK cells target tumor cells without a specified molecular target, Xiltokine is being developed for a broad range of indications, including hematological malignancies (such as non-Hodgkin lymphoma, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, multiple myeloma, Hodgkin lymphoma, and acute myeloid leukemia) and various solid tumors (including breast, lung, colorectal, gastric, pancreatic, and liver cancers, among others).
