Xin Nao Jing Tablet (also known as Xin Nao Jing Pian) is an approved traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) developed and manufactured by Jinsheng Da Ren Tang (Tianjin Pharmaceutical Da Ren Tang Group). It is formulated as an oral tablet containing a mixture of 16 traditional ingredients, including Plumula Nelumbinis, Margaritifera Concha, Sophorae Flos, Phellodendri Chinensis Cortex, Aucklandiae Radix, Scutellariae Radix, Prunellae Spica, Uncaria Ramulus Cum Uncis, Gentianae Radix Et Rhizoma, Lophatheri Herba, Clematidis Radix Et Rhizoma, Arisaematis Rhizoma, Glycyrrhizae Radix Et Rhizoma, Bovis Calculus Artifactus, Cinnabaris, and Borneolum Syntheticum. The formulation is clinically used to calm the liver, suppress yang, clear the heart, and calm the mind. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of vertigo, stroke, and hypertension associated with liver yang hyperactivity syndrome, presenting with symptoms such as dizziness, irritability, slurred speech, and hemiplegia.
