Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Xinbang Mesenchymal Stem Cell Injection is an investigational cell therapy developed by Shandong Xingrui Biotechnology for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis. The product consists of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), which are multipotent cells known for their ability to differentiate into various musculoskeletal tissues and their potent immunomodulatory effects. When administered via intra-articular injection, these cells are intended to reduce local inflammation and promote the repair of damaged articular cartilage by secreting a variety of paracrine factors, including cytokines and growth factors. The therapy is currently being evaluated in Phase I/IIa clinical trials in China to assess its safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy compared to conventional treatments like sodium hyaluronate.
