Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Xinfuli Granules (XFLG) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formulation developed for the treatment of chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF). In a randomized controlled trial conducted at Fuwai Hospital in Beijing, China, XFLG was evaluated as an adjunct to standard heart failure therapy. The formulation demonstrated significant clinical efficacy by reducing the composite risk of all-cause mortality and heart failure-related hospitalizations. Additionally, XFLG treatment was associated with improvements in left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), significant reductions in NT-proBNP levels, and enhanced quality of life, including the alleviation of depressive and anxiety states. It is administered orally and has shown a favorable safety profile comparable to standard care alone.
