Xingpi Capsule (also known as Spleen-awakening Capsule) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation primarily used in China for the treatment of functional gastrointestinal disorders, including irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and functional dyspepsia. The formulation is designed to "awaken the spleen" and "harmonize the stomach," addressing symptoms such as abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhea, and poor appetite. It typically comprises a synergistic blend of herbal extracts, including *Atractylodes macrocephala*, *Poria cocos*, and *Amomum villosum*. Clinical research, including real-world observational studies conducted by the China Academy of Chinese Medicine Sciences, has evaluated its efficacy in improving gastrointestinal symptoms as well as associated psychological comorbidities like anxiety and depression in adult patients.
