Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Xingpi Yanger granule is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) product primarily used in pediatric care for the treatment of infantile diarrhea, anorexia, and malnutrition associated with spleen deficiency. Developed and manufactured by Guizhou Jianxing Pharmaceutical, the formulation is composed of four herbal extracts: *Elsholtzia splendens* (Mao Xiang Hua), *Ilex chinensis* (Shan Zhi Cha), *Centipeda minima* (Shi Hu Sui), and *Chrysanthemum indicum* (Ye Ju Hua). The drug is designed to "awaken the spleen" and "nourish the child," addressing symptoms such as loose stools, poor appetite, restlessness, and night sweating. It is widely utilized in China as both a monotherapy and an adjuvant treatment alongside Western medicines like probiotics or antibiotics for gastrointestinal and respiratory conditions.
