Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Xingqi Xiaoying Granule is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) hospital preparation developed by the Shaanxi Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is specifically designed to treat Hashimoto's thyroiditis (HT) characterized by the TCM syndrome of 'qi stagnation and phlegm obstruction.' The formulation aims to alleviate clinical symptoms, reduce thyroid volume, and lower serum levels of thyroid peroxidase antibodies (TPOAb) and thyroglobulin antibodies (TgAb). By promoting qi circulation and resolving phlegm, it addresses the underlying TCM pathology associated with thyroid enlargement and autoimmune dysfunction.
