Xingqin Ganke Granule

Xingqin Ganke Granule is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed by Shuguang Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine for the treatment of post-infectious cough (PIC). The preparation is specifically designed for patients exhibiting the TCM syndrome of "wind-heat latent in the lung," a condition characterized by persistent coughing following an acute respiratory infection. The formulation's name suggests the inclusion of *Armeniacae Semen Amarum* (Xingren) and *Scutellariae Radix* (Huangqin), which are traditionally utilized to ventilate the lung, clear heat, and suppress cough. It is currently undergoing Phase 2 clinical evaluation in a randomized, placebo-controlled dose-finding study to assess its efficacy in reducing cough severity and frequency.
