Overview

Xinlitaxel (SAL011) is an innovative taxane derivative developed by Shenzhen Salubris Pharmaceuticals. As a microtubule stabilizer, it acts by binding to tubulin, promoting the assembly of microtubules and inhibiting their depolymerization. This interference with microtubule dynamics leads to cell cycle arrest at the G2/M phase and subsequent apoptosis of cancer cells. Xinlitaxel is being developed as a next-generation chemotherapy agent intended to provide improved efficacy or a better safety profile compared to traditional taxanes like paclitaxel or docetaxel. It is currently undergoing clinical evaluation in China for various malignancies, including breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and gastric cancer.
