Xinnaoshutong is a Chinese patent medicine primarily composed of total saponins extracted from the fruit of *Tribulus terrestris* L. It is widely used in China for the treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, including coronary heart disease, angina pectoris, and ischemic stroke.
