Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Xinsuning Jiaonang (also known as Xin Su Ning) is a patented traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) capsule developed and manufactured by Shaanxi Momentum Pharmaceutical. It is formulated from 11 herbal ingredients, including Coptidis Rhizoma, Pinelliae Rhizoma, Poria, Aurantii Fructus Immaturus, Dichroae Radix, Nelumbinis Plumula, Sophorae Flavescentis Radix, Artemisiae Annuae Herba, Ginseng Radix, Ophiopogonis Radix, and Glycyrrhizae Radix. Xinsuning Jiaonang is approved in China for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, particularly premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) associated with phlegm-heat heart-disturbed syndrome, coronary heart disease, and viral myocarditis. It acts as a multi-channel blocker, exhibiting Class I and Class III antiarrhythmic properties by blocking cardiac sodium (hNav1.5) and potassium (hERG) channels, thereby prolonging action potential duration and increasing the effective refractory period of cardiac electrical conduction.
