Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Xinyibiyan Pills (Xin Yi Bi Yan Wan) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal formulation developed and manufactured by Guangzhou Baiyunshan Zhongyi Pharmaceutical. It is indicated for the treatment of various rhinitis conditions, including allergic rhinitis, chronic rhinitis, and perennial rhinitis. According to TCM principles, the formulation works by expelling wind and purging internal heat or fever toxins, specifically targeting conditions where wind-heat attacks the head and heat poison accumulates in the lung. The product is administered orally and is used to alleviate symptoms such as nasal congestion, nasal discharge, runny nose, fever, and headache. The formulation contains a complex mixture of herbal ingredients, including Siberian Cocklebur Fruit, Dahurian Angelica Root, Chrysanthemum Flower, Peppermint, Baphicacanthus Root, Patchouli Herb, Small Centipeda Herb, Divaricate Saposhnikovia Root, Houttuynia cordata, Flos Magnoliae Lilifloreae, and Liquorice Root.
