Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Xiongshao Analgesic Granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) granule formulation developed by Guangdong Kaizhong Biotechnology for the treatment of migraine. It is specifically indicated for patients diagnosed with migraine (with or without aura) who exhibit the "wind-phlegm-blood stasis" pattern according to TCM principles. The formulation likely contains extracts from *Ligusticum chuanxiong* (Chuanxiong) and *Paeonia lactiflora* (Baishao), which are traditionally used in Chinese medicine to promote blood circulation, dispel wind, and alleviate pain. It is currently undergoing Phase 2 clinical evaluation in China to assess its efficacy and safety.
