Drug intelligence / Profile preview
XITRA is a proprietary small-molecule agonist developed by Constant Therapeutics that targets the Mas and MrgD receptors. These receptors are integral components of the alternative Renin-Angiotensin System (aRAS) pathway, which serves to counter-regulate the classical RAS pathway. By activating Mas and MrgD, XITRA is designed to promote vasodilation and exert anti-inflammatory and anti-fibrotic effects, specifically for the treatment of endothelial diseases. The compound is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
