Overview

Xiuyisheng is a probiotic intervention being investigated in a randomized controlled trial for its potential to improve intestinal microbiota and metabolites in patients with coronary heart disease after coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery. Probiotics are live microorganisms that, when administered in adequate amounts, are intended to confer a health benefit on the host, primarily by modulating the composition and function of the gut microbiome.
