Overview

XKDCT080 is an investigational chimeric antigen receptor T cell (CAR-T) therapy designed to target guanylyl cyclase C (GCC)-positive recurrent or refractory solid tumors. The therapy involves engineering a patient's own T lymphocytes to express a CAR that recognizes the GCC antigen, which is overexpressed in certain solid tumors such as colorectal cancer. Upon infusion, these modified T cells are intended to seek out and destroy tumor cells expressing GCC through immunologic cytotoxicity and T lymphocyte replacement mechanisms. The drug is currently being evaluated in early-phase clinical trials for safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy in patients with GCC-positive cancers. The primary developer of XKDCT080 is The Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University[1][2][3].
