Drug intelligence / Profile preview
XKZ2305 granules (XKZ2305颗粒) is a Class 1.1 innovative Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) granule formulation developed by Liancheng Xunkang in collaboration with Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine and Jiangsu Province Hospital of Chinese Medicine. It is derived from the hospital's internal preparation 'Xiao'er Jiangqi Pingxiao Heji' (小儿降气平哮合剂), which is based on the classic TCM formulas 'San'ao Decoction' (三拗汤) and 'Sanzi Yangqin Decoction' (三子养亲汤). XKZ2305 granules are designed to treat pediatric bronchial asthma during acute exacerbations characterized by the 'external cold and internal heat' syndrome (儿童哮喘急性发作期,外寒内热证). The formulation works by relieving bronchospasm, easing asthma, suppressing cough, resolving phlegm, promoting diaphoresis, and clearing internal heat. It is currently in Phase II clinical development in China.
