Overview

XLS-101 is an autologous T-cell receptor-engineered T-cell (TCR-T) therapy being developed by Guangdong Xiangxue Precision Medical Technology (XLifeSc) for the treatment of liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma). The therapy involves engineering a patient's own T cells to express a T-cell receptor specific for a novel peptide derived from alpha-fetoprotein (AFP), presented in the context of HLA-A2402. This allows the modified T cells to recognize and selectively kill AFP-expressing tumor cells. XLS-101 is currently in the IND-enabling stage of development and was developed using XLifeSc's proprietary antigen peptide discovery platform.
