Overview

XLS-102 is a T-cell receptor engineered T-cell (TCR-T) therapy developed by Guangdong Xiangxue Precision Medical Technology (XLifeSc) for the treatment of liver cancer. The therapy involves engineering a patient's T cells to express a specific T-cell receptor (TCR) that recognizes a novel alpha-fetoprotein (AFP)-derived peptide presented by the HLA-A*11:01 molecule. AFP is a well-known tumor-associated antigen frequently overexpressed in hepatocellular carcinoma. By targeting this specific peptide-HLA complex, XLS-102 aims to selectively identify and eliminate AFP-expressing tumor cells. As of early 2026, the candidate is in the preclinical stage of development and was identified using XLifeSc's proprietary antigen peptide discovery platform.
