XLS-105 is an investigational adoptive T-cell receptor-engineered T-cell (TCR-T) therapy developed by Guangdong Xiangxue Precision Medical Technology (XLifeSc) for the treatment of cervical cancer. The therapy utilizes autologous T cells that are genetically modified to express a specific T-cell receptor (TCR) capable of recognizing human papillomavirus (HPV)-derived viral antigen peptides. These peptides are presented by the HLA-A*02:01 major histocompatibility complex on the surface of HPV-positive tumor cells. Upon recognition, the engineered T cells are activated to selectively target and eliminate the malignant cells. XLS-105 is currently in the IND-enabling stage of development, specifically targeting HPV-positive malignancies such as cervical cancer.
