Overview

XmAb 2513 is a humanized monoclonal antibody developed to target the CD30 antigen, which is expressed on the surface of several tumor cell types, notably in Hodgkin lymphoma and anaplastic large cell lymphoma. The drug was engineered using Xencor's Fc-engineering technology to enhance its binding affinity for FcγRIIIA receptors, resulting in increased antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) and phagocytosis (ADCP) compared to non-engineered antibodies. Its mechanism involves direct anti-proliferative effects on CD30-positive cells as well as immune-mediated cytotoxicity. XmAb 2513 was primarily developed by Xencor for use in hematologic malignancies such as Hodgkin lymphoma and T-cell lymphomas[1][4][5][6][8].
