XmAb5485

XmAb5485 is a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting CD40, developed by Xencor for the treatment of B-cell malignancies and autoimmune diseases. It incorporates Xencor's proprietary XmAb Fc-engineering technology, which significantly increases the antibody's affinity for Fc gamma receptors (FcγR). This enhancement leads to a substantial increase in effector functions, notably a 150-fold improvement in antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) compared to non-engineered versions. Preclinical studies have demonstrated its potent anti-tumor activity in models of Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, and Multiple Myeloma.
