XmAb942

XmAb942 is a high-potency, extended half-life, investigational monoclonal antibody that targets TL1A (tumor necrosis factor-like cytokine 1A). It is engineered with Xencor’s Xtend Fc domain for prolonged half-life and proprietary Fc silencing technology to ablate effector function. The drug binds trimeric TL1A with high affinity and specificity, blocking the interaction between TL1A and its receptor DR3 (death receptor 3), which plays a key role in inflammatory pathways implicated in inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. Preclinical studies show that XmAb942 has class-leading potency and an extended half-life of over 22 days, potentially supporting dosing intervals of eight to twelve weeks.
