Drug intelligence / Profile preview
XNTR-955 is a preclinical-stage investigational drug being developed by Xennials Therapeutics. It is characterized as a targeted multi-inhibitor of the Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription (STAT) and the Androgen Receptor (AR) N-Terminal Domain (NTD). By specifically targeting the N-terminal domain of the androgen receptor, XNTR-955 is designed to bypass resistance mechanisms associated with mutations or deletions in the ligand-binding domain (LBD), which often render traditional AR-targeted therapies ineffective. The dual inhibition of STAT and AR NTD is intended to address unmet needs in the treatment of both solid tumors and liquid tumors (hematological malignancies). As of early 2024, the compound is in the proof-of-concept stage of development.
