Overview

XNTR-956 is a preclinical-stage drug candidate developed by Xennials Therapeutics that acts as a dimerization inhibitor of Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription (STAT) proteins. By targeting the STAT transcription factor family, XNTR-956 aims to prevent the dimerization and subsequent nuclear translocation of these proteins, which are frequently constitutively active in various cancers. This inhibition blocks the expression of oncogenic genes involved in tumor cell proliferation, survival, and immune evasion. The drug is being investigated for potential applications in treating solid tumors, liquid tumors (hemic and lymphatic diseases), and prostate cancer.
