Drug intelligence / Profile preview
XNW27011-mAb is a monoclonal antibody targeting Claudin 18.2 (CLDN18.2), a transmembrane protein highly expressed in gastric and pancreatic adenocarcinomas. It serves as the antibody component of the antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) XNW27011. Developed by Evopoint Biosciences, XNW27011-mAb exhibits antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC), complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC), and internalization activities. In preclinical studies, it has shown specific binding to human CLDN18.2 with high affinity, while sparing the closely related Claudin 18.1. While the ADC version is the primary clinical candidate, the mAb provides the targeting specificity and intrinsic immunological effector functions necessary for the conjugate's activity.
