Drug intelligence / Profile preview
XO200-Series LoadEx is an exosome-based therapeutic program being developed by Xsome Biotech for the treatment of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). The technology utilizes the LoadEx™ platform to engineer exosomes derived from Human Embryonic Kidney (HEK) cells, which are loaded with specific small interfering RNA (siRNA) cargos. These engineered exosomes are designed to deliver the siRNA to lung tissues to modulate the expression of genes involved in the progression of fibrosis. The program is currently in the preclinical/discovery stage.
