XP-001-V2 is an investigational mRNA-based cancer vaccine encapsulated in lipid nanoparticles (LNPs), specifically designed to target the KRAS G12V mutation. Developed by Shanghai Xinpu Biotechnology, this therapeutic vaccine aims to elicit a robust and specific T-cell immune response against tumor cells expressing the G12V variant of the KRAS protein. The KRAS G12V mutation is a common driver in several aggressive malignancies, including pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, colorectal cancer, and non-small cell lung cancer. XP-001-V2 is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical evaluation in China to assess its safety, tolerability, and preliminary antitumor activity in patients with advanced solid tumors who have exhausted standard treatment options.
